Dancer with the Venetian group Masquerade, she got overly drunk at the Casino d’Venecia with the rest of Masquerade and was taken home by Luca Porrini along with Svetlana Korai (Episode 6: Why Why Why).
Clotilde Courau owns an apartment in a small block with just two apartments upstairs and two downstairs. Masquerade regulary use the upstairs hallway / atrium of her block for rehearsals (Episode 9: Everything has Consequences). It is here she and several of the other Masquerade dancers where held captive by Damian Petra before being rescued by Luca Porrini, Dolores Alegra Malspina, Gina Tortelli and the ladies of La Belle D’Venice. Repairs were undertaken to it after the damage done by gunfie with the cash in the assassins wallet. Later in the evening, along with Carmela Da Mosto, she managed to get Dolores Alegra Malspina into one of Masquerades costumes and tottering through a few dance routines.
A few months later after a phone call from Dolores Alegra Malspina she invited her to accompany herself and Carmela Da Mosto to a private party they were performing / teaching at (Episode 12: Whats New Pussycat). The three drank a great deal before the performance but still managed to teach the two dozen or so young women present the basics of burlesque whilst having a great deal of fun. Later in the evening she approached Dolores Alegra Malspina and asked to comission a mask for her attendance at her sisters ‘coming out’ which would be held at the spring masked ball in Vienna. From this Dolores Alegra Malspina deduced that there was more to Clotilde than meets the eye and that she probably had a title of at least duchess!
Part of the Masquerade group that attended the Duke of Milan’s party (Episode 15: For When the Time is Right, she taught Francisco Motella at the pre-ball dance class,and was later found in the underground temple, bound and gagged, ready to be a part of the ritual taking place there.
. She was rescued by Gina Tortelli, Dolores Alegra Malspina and Luca Porrini and despite a run in with a large male lion made it safely to Luca’s room, and subsequently escaped the castle as it went up in flames
